    HC Hurricanes - the season is about to start!!!

     Good afternoon,

    Thank you to everyone that came out today or last Sunday to get assessed.  We met a lot of new faces and saw a few familiar ones!

    A few things to know....

    Practices start next Monday - May 15th.  Please check the website for practices times.

    Volunteers

    Computer:  We have a unique opportunity for a few individuals..... 

    You can complete your entire volunteer commitment for the season in one night!  
    We are in need of 3 persons (one for each home meet) who will be responsible for recording all of the times into the computer for each of our three home meets. This will include a training session at Peninsula Club or River Run on May 24 @ 7:00pm - ish (exact time & location TBD)

    You will be required to work 6pm - 10pm 

    (or whenever the meet ends)

    Speedy Meet Coordinator:  We are in need of a parent at each Speedy Meet (home and away) to agree to be the point person.  

    Responsibilities include:

    Away Meets:  Take ribbons and recording sheet (coaches to provide)

    Home Meets:  Organize volunteers, set up stop watches, clipboards with paper to record all times and set up recording table

    If you have not registered your swimmer/s yet please do so ASAP.  Your child will not be permitted to enter the pool until registration is complete and paid for.  Don't forget - we have gone to an online registration process this year so there will not be swim registration packets to fill out at the pool.  If you are having difficulties logging in with your email address please email: [email protected] for further assistance.
