Hi Hurricanes Families,

We’re excited to kick off our first SENIOR team swim meet of the season this Friday, May 30th at Wynfield! 

MEET DETAILS
📍 Location: Wynfield Neighborhood – 14301 Wynfield Creek Pkwy, Huntersville
🕔 Arrival Time: 5:00 PM for swimmers and volunteers (check-in & warm-ups)
🕕 Meet Start Time: 6:00 PM sharp

Directions: Take I-77 North to exit 23. Turn left on Gilead Road (heading west) and cross over I-77. Turn right onto Wynfield Creek Parkway. The pool is on the left.

MEET ATTENDANCE- IMPORTANT DEADLINE
All swimmers must declare whether they are attending the meet by Thursday at 10:00 AM – NO exceptions.
If your swimmer is not marked as attending, they will not be entered in the meet.

To declare meet attendance:

1. Log in to the Swimtopia WEBSITE (not the app)
2. Go to Swim Meets > Upcoming Dates > Meet Entry > Attending/Not Attending
3. If you already know your meet schedule, we recommend completing all entries for the season now.

MEET EXPECTATIONS & REMINDERS: 

• Swimmers must arrive in a swimsuit, and have a cap, goggles, and towel.
• Please mark your swimmer’s arm with their events before the meet using a black Sharpie. How to Write Events on Your Swimmer
• Swimmers must remain on the pool deck during the meet (except for restrooms or concessions). It’s very difficult to find swimmers when it’s time to line up if they’ve left the area.
• Keep track of your belongings and avoid accidentally taking others’ items.
• Be respectful to teammates, coaches, and volunteers.
• Listen for your events, line up promptly, cheer for your teammates, and show great sportsmanship!
• Family and friends must stay in the spectator area during the meet. Swimmers may visit spectators, but guests should not be in the team area.
• Please clean up your area before leaving!!
